Whats the difference between an iphone 3g and 4g?

my friend asked what i was asking my parents for for my birthday, cuz its coming up soon. i said an iphone. he said i should wait till the iphone 4g comes out. and before i could ask what the difference was, he had to leave... so what is the difference? thanks :)Whats the difference between an iphone 3g and 4g?
Since Apple hasn't officially announced the iPhone 4G, it's hard to know for sure what new or better features it will have. But, based on a prototype that was found, it looks very likely that the 4G will have a front facing video camera as well as a flash for the camera, a secondary mic for noise cancellation, as well as an entirely different design. Also, supposedly it will have a higher screen resolution.

The price and the Iphone4 has a front facing camera for facetime and the 3 dont i have the 3 and i love it so i would suggest the 3g beacuse its alot cheaper and their isnt much difference!! :)

Whats the difference between an iphone 3g and 4g?
I'm sure that the 4g will have so many more updated or new features that the 3G doesn't have. Also, the new look of the 4G is one of the changes b/w the two phones. Other than those ideas, I don't know what other things Apple gonna have on its new iPhone, but yeah, i think you should wait for the new 4G or if you can't wait, get the 3GS, it's still pretty awesome though :D
