Is the Verizon Samsung Stratosphere the only 4g slider phone out right now?
I've read that one is coming out that looks like the evo, but im more interested in what i can buy right now. I am getting a new phone soon and am on Verizon and wanted to get into android. I already have an ipod touch 4g, so games are not primarily what i want. I want a phone that is great for watching movies(youtube), gets new android updates quick, and an os, that help me and wont get in my way. I am deciding between thunderbolt, bionic, and samsung. How long should I wait before going from a 6g to a 4g?
I started stretching my ears at a slow pace, but I'm getting impatient now that I'm closer to the size I want (1/2"). I stretched to a 6g yesterday and bought a pair of 4g today. How long should I wait before putting them in? And pain is not an issue because I'm a masochist, which is partly why I've been having so much trouble waiting to size up. The 4g ipod touch has a lot more features than the 3g. For example, the 4g ipod touch has pretty much all the features of the iphone 4 except you can't call/text people on it (excluding facetime) and some of the apps aren't available or as useful on the 4g. Also, the 4g ipod touch has two cameras (one on the back and then one on the front for taking pics of yourself or for facetime). Other differences is that the lock/unlock button is on the top of the right side on the 4g and the left side on the 3g, and the 4g ipod has voice control (built in mic and speaker) whereas the 3g doesn't. Another major difference is the size the different generations are available in. The 4g comes in 8gb, 32 gb, and 64gb, and the 3g comes in 8gb, 16gb, and 32 gb I believe.
One last thing to consider is price. Obviously the older generations will be less expensive than the new one, so if you don't really care about the extra features and want to save some money then i'd say get a 3g. But, if you want all the extra features and the option to have more space get the 4g. I currently have the 4g (my 3g got stolen) and its done everything i've asked of it and more. Also, i just remembered that the 4g has an additional accelerometer or gyroscope or something like that that the 3g doesn't, and the screen resolution is sooo much better haha. Hope this helps.

I like the lg optimus v, because it has one thing the ipod touch doesn't have, which is 3g. I can use the 3g to text anywhere. It would depend on your needs. If you want a front facing camera that bad, than an iPod touch maybe your best solution. You can use a mobile hotspot router to get connected to the Internet, and an app called TextNow which will give you an SMS number. There is something called the ZTE Peel, but not sure if there is an iPod Touch v4 compatibility or not.
If you want something that would have a front facing camera, and a SMS, you might be best with a smart phone that's not on Virgin. I know that Virgin is cheap, but as with any VMNO, they are typically the last to get any decent phone if at all. All of the big 4, and some regionals have phones with front facing cameras.

Truth be told there really isn't any such thing as 4G yet. Different providers advertise it but the ITU (international telecommunications union) is the governing body that defines such things and 4G is defined as speed of 100-300mbps. So far even Verizon (the fastest) only advertises 50mbps and only actually delivers about 12mbps on a good day. I'm not saying phones advertised as 4G aren't faster than 3G phones, just that they're not really 4G yet.

Truth be told there really isn't any such thing as 4G yet. Different providers advertise it but the ITU (international telecommunications union) is the governing body that defines such things and 4G is defined as speed of 100-300mbps. So far even Verizon (the fastest) only advertises 50mbps and only actually delivers about 12mbps on a good day. I'm not saying phones advertised as 4G aren't faster than 3G phones, just that they're not really 4G yet.

What video card will work well with AMD Athlon II 220 processor?
My roommate recently acquired an used computer with an AMD II 220 processor and integrated graphics card. We wouldn't be playing many games other than CSS, possibly the Dirt series and maybe HL2 and the original FarCry but nothing too graphics-intense. What graphics card would work well with the computer? I do understand that this process is nothing special and it has 4g of ram. Any suggestions?
