Can I just get the HTC Thunderbolt and not use the phone feature and the 4g?

I am eligible for the upgrade at Verizon + $100 credit, but I really don't care about the 4G anymore and I would rather just have a simple feature phone.



Please advise me on what I can do and if it is worth it.



I am not trying not to pay $35/month for 4g when I get wifi everywhere. I was excited at first, but now I am thinking it is overhyped.
