Is 4G really that much of a difference from 3G?

I want to know if anyone that has a 4G phone has really seen a difference in speed? How long have you had the phone? What area are you from? (city,state please) I would like to know what network you have and which model phone you have as well. I'm really considering the switch to 4G since it's "10x faster than 3G" But, is it really? You're input would be greatly appreciated.

i've been shopping for a new phone and was at a verizon store for over an hour yesterday. the guy was saying that yeah 4G is pretty fast NOW but as soon as enough people switch to 4G it will end up being slow and since less people will be on 3G it will be faster than 4G soon.

he said he just got a new phone and just got a 3G again instead of switching since he knows 4G will get slow really fast.Is 4G really that much of a difference from 3G?
4g just has faster internet speed than 3g. if you currently have a 3g phone, buy a 4g phone and you'll see the difference.
